Default Route for a Corpus Christi ride

Hey guys, I am riding to Corpus next weekend to visit some friends. Highway bombs are usually too boring so I am wondering if there is a more "back-road" twisty type of way to get there. Anyone have any ideas or routes on how to make the run more enjoyable? I checked the Best Biking Roads app on my phone and there is nothing listed in this area for good rides. So what is your imput?

Your best bet is to run to Falfurias on 281, then cut over to Rivera on 77 on 285, then north to Bishop, taking "Chapman Ranch Road" FM70 into Corpus, it'll bring you in to cross town 286, That's all i've got. You'll sneak a few curves into a 150 mile ride
If you can't keep up, don't step up.....

Ive run that route also and pretty good. When you get to us77 in riviera, go north to driscoll and hang a right on hwy 655 or 665 or something like that. some more curves and twisties and such and will take you right into corpus.
Officer, I wasn't speeding!!??!! I was productively maintaining an expedited action....
