They have a special bike rigged for camera recording, it's got a stinger off the tail section, i think every student rides it for two hot laps so they can get a video to take home.

That track is awesome! I went in 2005, I think, for the AMA weekend. Had a blast. Wish I took my bike so I could have done the parade lap, but we caravanned down there.

I think I'm gonna suggest an RGVcycles group trip next year. I would suggest Barber for a number of reasons:

    1. Its the closest "main event" track (AMA weekend) - but still 1000 miles away.
    2. It's one of the nicest tracks and the motorcycle museum is awesome as well.
    3. It doesn't get crazy busy like Laguna or Salt Lake that's a AMA/Motogp/WSB event. I think it's a little more inviting and not as hectic for those that don't like to deal with big crazy crowds.
    4. I had a blast and would like to go back.

Maybe we can propose a group trip when they announce the 2011 AMA schedule so people can put in for the time off, get rooms lined up, and whatever else.

    Have fun Kasey! I'm jealous.
I have helmets, jackets and other stuff for sale in the classifieds section
If the link doesn't work, just look in the classifieds section
